Let me introduce myself.
I'm #KoleworldKutz, founder of Stay Faded Barbershop, and I've spent over 16 years behind the chair helping people look their best and feel confident.
But Stay Faded is more than a barbershop.
It's built on legacy, resilience, and love.
After losing my cousin Salvador, I realized life is too short to keep waiting for permission to live life on my own terms. Salvador lived authentically, loved deeply, carried positivity wherever he went, and always believed in showing up as yourself. A fresh haircut wasn't just a haircut to him—it was confidence.
If I'm being honest, owning a barbershop was never the dream. But losing Salvador changed my perspective. It made me realize that life is too short to spend it building someone else's vision when you're capable of building something of your own.
Stay Faded is my way of honoring his legacy.
At the same time, it's a reflection of my own journey. The years spent raising my children, building a career behind the chair, navigating grief and loss, and finding the courage to finally bet on myself.
This shop isn't about replacing the people we've lost. It's about carrying them with us. Every haircut, every conversation, every laugh, and every client who sits in my chair becomes part of that story.
When you walk into Stay Faded, you'll see a barbershop. But for me, you'll be walking into a place built from perseverance, family, purpose, and love.
It's a tribute to Salvador, a new beginning for me, and proof that even after loss, something beautiful can still grow.

Salvador was a whiskey kind of soul — smooth, bold, and unforgettable. Whiskey was his drink of choice, so I named each service after different types of whiskey as a way to honor him and keep his spirit woven into Stay Faded.
